Minimum Stays
Bookings taken for the Peak Season, 20 December to 18 January, are a minimum of 5 nights, unless there is gap that can be filled or otherwise agreed. Anniversary, Easter, Anzac, Queens Birthday and Labour weekend – a minimum booking of 3 nights is required, unless otherwise agreed.
A minimum stay of 2 nights is required for all reservations.
Deposits / Prepayment
A deposit of the first night accommodation value is required 14 days prior to arrival to confirm the reservation. For all public holidays and special events in the region a deposit of 50% of the total booking is payable 30 days prior to arrival. A receipt for the deposit processed will be forwarded with the reservation confirmation.
A $ 500.00 bond may be requested from guests during both high-demand times (like holidays or peak seasons) and low-demand times. This is a security deposit to cover any potential damages or extra charges.
If guests have settled all charges and have not incurred any additional fees, the bond will be returned.
Servicing
All of our Belle Mer apartments are privately owned and self serviced, staff will not clean your room until your departure unless you have requested and paid for this service.
If you have booked a stay of 5 nights or more, our housekeeping team will provide one light cleaning mid stay, including fresh linens, towels changes, and vacuuming, at no additional cost to you.
We provide a starter pack with teas, instant coffee, plunger coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, salt and pepper and milk, plus toiletries sufficient for the first day or two.
Payment of Accommodation Charges
Payment of remaining Accommodation Charges is required at time of Check In. All other charges incurred during your stay will be payable on your departure.
Additional People
Each apartment has a maximum number of guests permitted to stay. Should you wish to have an extra person stay, this must be advised prior to arrival. A charge of $60.00 per additional person per night will be applied where consent is given by Belle Mer Management. Management reserves the right to refuse access to additional persons to an apartment.
Car parking
One car space in our secure basement is allocated to each apartment for their use. Additional car parks may be available on occasion and will be allocated at the discretion of Belle Mer Management.
Cancellations and Refunds
For all reservations taken by phone where there is not sufficient time to communicate in writing prior to arrival an explanation of the Cancellation Policy of Belle Mer will be given verbally. For all reservations taken by e-mail a copy of the Cancellation Policy of Belle Mer will be forwarded with the reservation confirmation.

All booking incur $ 25.00 admin fee. This is not refundable
Same day, No-show: 100% of booking
If a reservation is cancelled less than 7 days before check-in, guests will be charged 50% of the total reservation amount. Management has discretion to wave this in special circumstances
14+ days: no cancellation fee
No refunds are given if you decide to cut your holiday short unless we can on sell the apartment to another guest at the same Tariff
Security
Credit card details (NOT DEBIT CARD) must be supplied for ALL bookings regardless of the method of payment for security reasons. Please ensure you have sufficient credit to process the deposit required, failure to have sufficient funds could result in cancellation. All credit card details will be kept secure and upon departure deleted from our system.
